During Lockdown, I have took time to look out of my window, on a daily basis, and I have noticed nature is thriving.
First, the birds were collecting nesting materials, like broken branches I had pruned off the bushes, to build their nests.
Next, the birds were digging for worms to feed their chicks. The bird calls are gradually getting louder and more beautiful. It is great to wake up to in the morning to the sound of nature.
I was so overwhelmed with this, that I thought I would write you all a poem. I hope you like it …….
That’s lovely, Heather. I think we all needed to reconnect with nature.xx
Nice to read your blog Heather. Lots to see & do outdoors this weather, the gardens are full of life. We have nesting birds in the hedge & roof eaves at the moment. Lyn Fox (Lifetime Sankey street.)
Thank you for your poem
O what a joy to hear the birds sing
See the wild flowers grow
The trees waving in the breeze
That is my walk !
Well done GCSE in English!

Thanks for this Heather, been keeping my practice going at home and on patio when weather is good. Kept to early mornings for quiet period as home schooling is quite full on during day.
